Continua Process Systems’ mission is to become a valued partner and provider of innovative process automation, workflow and data management solutions for the pharmaceutical and biotech industries as they strive to produce safer, more effective, and higher quality life science products—better, faster, and more economically.

Our unique ContinuousPlant® process automation and data management solutions are specifically designed to provide continuous analysis, control, and data collection of Critical Process Parameter (CPP) variables that directly affect predefined and measured Critical Quality Attributes (CQA). Continua’s integrated solutions enable users to deploy modular, multi-product continuous manufacturing lines to produce APIs, biologics, and drug products more predictably, efficiently, and of better quality than traditional batch manufacturing methods.

Continua’s systems engineers have extensive knowledge and experience with developing and implementing process control, Process Analytical Technology (PAT), materials tracking and traceability, and manufacturing execution systems (MES). We employ data management, PAT, and MES engineers to seamlessly integrate this software into our continuous manufacturing solutions. This combination of process automation, and data management expertise coupled with our life sciences project implementation experience enables Continua to take a holistic approach on how best to solve your process control and data management challenges.

Continua is an active member of the Engineering Research Center (ERC) for Structured Organic Particulate Systems (ERC-SOPS) at the Rutgers University School of Engineering in New Brunswick, NJ. Users can contract with C-SOPS for access to their continuous manufacturing facilities and cross-disciplinary team of scientists, engineers, consultants, and industry leaders who are available to support the development of science-based, advanced manufacturing processes from initial concept to qualification.
